Thrashing Poem by Lilly James

Thrashing

Outside all is calm
The stars they shine
The moon lights the sky
Inside everyone one sleeps
Even the girl who thrashes
In her restless slumber
She cries out in the
Middle of the calm night
No one hears her scream
It doesn't wake her
Nor does it wake her family
She's having a nightmare
About what you did again
It's nights like this that she thrashes
When it storms and it thrashes outside
Theres lightning in the sky
The rain poors down
Nothing is calm
She soundlessly sleeps
In her warm bed
With out thoughts of you
