i thought i was in love
so head over heels
you made me feel beautiful
even when i couldn't see it in my reflection
for the first time in my life
i was happy to be
but blind eyes can't see that far ahead
how was i to know you'd be my ending
as usual i'm left feeling dead
my blind eyes
they didn't see it coming

every single word i shared
those hopes and dreams i gave
you told me, 'i love you with my heart and soul'
so what happened to that love
did it just fall apart in a few weeks
secrets growing as the months passed by
but blind eyes
