If only I had the power
to turn your life completely around
I'd like it to be
on the first day you met me...

the very first time I've laid eyes on you
I instantly knew it'll be me and you
and so i wished every night
to finally hug you tight...

however I know it'll be hard
sometimes i have to let go
even though it's like this, I want you to know
I'll be here to hold on...

life is being cruel to us
but we'll withstand all
'coz i know we love each other so
and that's enough for me to know...

but why does it have to end this way?
a broken heart and soul
let this song reach out and touch fate's heart
and never ever fade away...

I never know what I'll need in order to keep your heart
I have tried every single way but it didn't just work out
if only I can do so

gazing up at the starless night
