To Me Poem by Wakefield Mahon

To Me

Picture
I hear the shower,
See her in my mind
The water envelops her
She glistens and glows
She is my beloved
Her form is lovely
To my eyes

I hear him crying
He's teething this time
He just lost his breakfast
He needs to be changed
He is my child
His cry is lovely
To my ears

I hear the angels
They are praising His name
His name is most glorious
'Though once he was shamed
Let himself die
Still his power is immortal
To my heart
