Goodbye Michael, portal and friend,
singer of life and loyalties beyond care,
of bromeliad watch and bumpy road,
what stories you will have to share
how lucky to have found a home
with such adventures you will bring
to sing the stars and wanderers,
to dance the skies and homeward go.

Go come, then, Michael, by the light
of this small candle, where we wait
with you, and 100,000 others too.
Share a little food with us and stories
on this night. Rest a moment here,
by our thoughts and in our hearts
