To Mico Poem by Mustafa Marconi

To Mico

Here I am my child
Waiting for the moment
To hold you gently in my arms
I hear you my child
I hear you so clearly
From the first sounds
Fresh out of mama’s womb
To the melodic tunes of your cries
Just a few hours later
You are my namesake
My little girl
My second born
My co-number one
Here I am my child
Waiting for the moment
To hold you gently in my arms
And love you forever
