Miles are between us - this much is true
But still that is no reason to be blue!
I promise I’ll be back before too long,
Until that time we both have to be strong.
It will be hard being so far away,
But we can still talk everyday!
Manitoulin every year – May and October, too
And the months between, we’ll just breeze through!
We’re never really going to be far apart,
Because you will always be in my heart.
Best friends we are, and best friends we’ll remain,
Even though we can both be such a pain! ! !
I’m going to miss you – this we cannot avoid,
But the time we shared in Sussex was definitely enjoyed!
You were a listening ear, a shoulder on which I could cry,
The hardest part is saying good-bye.

May the LORD bless you and keep you, may the LORD make his face to shine upon you, and give you peace.
Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
