To My Dearest Bree (For Brianna Shaw) Poem by Harrison Bishop

To My Dearest Bree (For Brianna Shaw)

I'm going to write a poem and I'll write it for Bree,
I'm going to write a poem so she will see,
That my love for her can't be contained,
I'm smitten by her, I might go insane,
She teaches me to cook, I teach her Japanese,
I'm going to be honest, I've never loved anyone with such ease,
From acting to poetry and living together,
Here's to the hope that our love is forever,
She may try, but she'll never beat me in a fight,
I don't think I've ever seen someone with a future so bright.
