When I first saw you
I didn't realise
that I would be in love with you
till the end

I listen to all
the love songs created
by the ones who have felt this
But 'Oh No'
none of them can describe
the love I have for you

I do a quiz
to find myself
known as an angel's heart
because I don't ask for much
It's true sweetheart,
for all I want is
for you to know
how much I love you

A rose for love
petals for the pleasure
thorns for the pain
An ocean for love
the beautiful waves for the joy
the dangers within for the misery

The time has come for me to descend
for this will be my last
being with you,
watching your priceless smile
smelling your sweet scent
sensing your touch
feeling your embrace

But I am leaving
with the memories
the ones that have brought
the light, the colour
into my dull, dark world
