To my best friend for this I do write
She knows everything about me
And knows how to make things right
I’m nothing without her by my side.

The advice she gives makes things right
The words she speaks glisten like icicles in the sun
Her ayes hit my ears like a well tuned harp
Her lips are red like the moon on a summer’s night

I can just sit for hours, listening to her voice
Complaining, laughing, crying and joking
Any boy who meets her would be so lucky
She is my flower on the first day of spring

Who could ask for a better friend then she
The nights turn in to days,
The mornings into afternoons
And the memories live on for ever.

Like a well timed clock, made from love
She teaches me new things everyday
And together we progress
In lives great mystery.
