To My Nanay Baby Poem by J.C. Masa

To My Nanay Baby

To My Nanay Baby

All I'm asking is for you to hold on and wait for me.
I'll be there soon so we can make more memories.

My childhood was full of the sweet things you did for me.
When I was young, you were the first person I ran to when I was scared and weary.

Now I'm miles away, and the feelings are heavy.
Now you are becoming more forgetful, but don't you worry.

The love and guidance you bestowed on me, I will always carry.
So hold on and wait for me—I'll be home soon.
I'll make you a cup of coffee. ☕
