To Prove Human Poem by Twinomugisha Longinus

To Prove Human

TO PROVE HUMAN

To prove human
Just a greeting could suffice,
To exhibit solicitude,
Especially when we meet first time,
And none of us is courteous.

To show humanity,
There need be charity, amity,
And not animosity.
For amongst us,
Supremacy and pomposity,
Seem to create a rift.

To whosoever; formal or not,
From East or West,
richly bestowed or unfortunate,
Generosity reigns extant and supreme.
