To Spoil Poem by Bella Magik

To Spoil

Rating: 5.0

Across the water blue, glide the contrast of an oil
Spilt regardless of the beauty free to us we spoil
Un-contained, what will not blend, divides and all that’s left
Is the suffocating stain of loss that smears a beating chest?
Carry on with weight of cold regret and sink like steel
Choosing not to stand up, so instead, in fear we kneel
And the just near the waters edge, the point is lost not made
As we reflect the desperate call for all that we've betrayed
To walk away from water blue where differences run deep
Is giving up on what could be well worth the change to keep
Tides will turn as lovers learn that some scars fade away
When I turn to you must kiss me till I stay
