To Square A Parabola Poem by Catherine Casey

To Square A Parabola

To square a parabola
In geometric space.
To mirror elementals
In preliminary haste.

When all confirms the circle,
(The product of the pie) ,
Not to be divergent, but
Reverential to the eye.

A theorem reprimanded
Of quandaries hitherto
Unmentioned by the Masons,
Perplexing both me and you.

Is all a grand illusion?
A mystery dressed in laws.
For prideful minds what's missing
Behind curtains is the cause.

That one should ever wonder -
The reason that we can,
Is down to simple logic
That creation is a plan.

On parchment or binary
Codes work as the cement.
Uniting micro systems
As a macro compliment.

Write what's clearly evident.
Describe the goings on.
For literary meaning -
An insightful cap to don.
