This man is a spiritual evolution beyond the normal human being of the present: Prayer, Service, Suffering have raised him above the common person, and yet we common ones are the ones he loves and serves. And this is that AGAPE love of one's neighbor which is the center of the Beatitudes. Your poem is short but the light of Ioann is released in a long gleaming ray that expands and shines on us all. This is the poem that answers and amplifies my recent poems. It conveys the reality of faith behind a a poem like my Hymn to the Lord in Lent. I'm going to place a copy with my attempts at writing not just about religion but releasing energy of the Spirit through writing. I was ready for this poem, dear Liza. It came exactly on time.
