I see you posted your poem My Poems are Like Clouds recently. I don't recall reading it before. I like it a lot. It's so real; just like you. And genuine. So to the point with good rhythm. Keep up the good work. I didn't see to rate it but will go back to it and look again...
Dear Liza, it's great to read your messages, they're so heart-felt, sweet-toned, I'm going to answer your questions.
A DAUGHTER REMEMBERS: Yes, I suppose it could have been a father and son but I'm drawn to a father/daughter rapport: I love the father/daughter duets in Verdi's operas and I hear that music while composing a poem like this one. Music inspires so many of my poems: I've always wanted to write a series of ten poems, inspired by SCRIABIN'S SONATAS. But his music transcends speech. // You gave me an idea to write a sequel to ODYSSEUS THE WANDERER. My poem is based on actual history. In the centuries after the Trojan War Greece endured a Dark Ages when the great cities collapsed and life was desperate. But perhaps I can write another poem of a new prosperity.
this poet....as far as i have seen.....is extremely talented. She has got something very extraordinary that many poets do not possess. If I get a chance to name this poet, I would certainly say that this poet is the most experienced blacksmith. it is because she can mould any topic into something magnificent just by gilding it with the colors poignancy and elegance.
