To The Last Rose Of Summer (After Thomas Moore) Poem by Meng Lim Dr

To The Last Rose Of Summer (After Thomas Moore)

Though you live
for a season only
there should be no grief
I'll hold you dear in my memory-

I bless thee--I'm reminded
of my own mortality
even when my life has faded
I've endured in your boundless beauty
