To Whomever Feels As Lonely As I Poem by Julian Takali

To Whomever Feels As Lonely As I

May I lend you the flower which bleeds a nectar of my loneliness?
May I give you the petals so at least you can feel me at my loneliest?

So I can watch the sap leak into your veins
And drink up the rest because any part of you is what I crave

May I dampen myself with gasoline and give you the lighter?
May I pull the bow back so you can feel the arrow getting tighter?

I am the weapon and you the trigger
I hope that today your anxious hands can calm your fingers

But if you happen to lapse
And ignite my fire
Stake my heart
Or crush my flower

I'll understand
