To You... Poem by Dan Brown

To You...

If my eyes could speak, they’d whisper your name -
their feeling and passion too hard to tame.
They cry with pleasure upon seeing your face
for you have that something I just can’t place.

If my lips could see, they’d want to see you
kissing me softly, our tongues being two.
For when your lips are one with mine
my whole world turns and bright stars shine.

If my arms could walk they’d hunt you down
and wouldn’t rest ‘til you were found,
for their purpose is to comfort you
and hold you close to pull you through.

If my legs could hug they’d entwine with yours
- spend time making fun on hardened floors -
for they wish to be with you all they can;
the whole of me loves you, my darling Dan.
