To You I Belong (Sonnet #157) Poem by Tina Baaklini

To You I Belong (Sonnet #157)

To you I belong, to the tenderest heart,
To the soft heart that beats within my chest,
To the mighty soul of which we're both part,
To your tenderness of which I'm obsessed.

With your hand in mine, I have all it takes
To breathe happiness for the rest of my days
To be loved for the soul that we partake
To be embraced by rainbows all the way.

As we walk now on the shore I reminisce
Two soulmates like us, sharing endless vows
With the sky their sole witness as they kiss
A sky blue azure, pure as their hearts, no clouds.

Pure their hearts remain, mature they became,
Thus we're still the same, as we meet again.
