Today! - Poem by Khalil Gabol

Today, you have liberated yourself
From the heart of mine.
From the love and affection,
That held you here, the most sublime.

Today, as well, I am singing you
In the mournful and melancholy lines.
In the garden of seclusion,
Ah! that is heaven of divine.

Today, I have seen my heart
Sick, yearning and yelling for you.
Crying with endless stroms,
That I were unable, to be thine.

Beloved, today you have liberated yourself
From the heart of mine.
From the love and affection
That held you here, the most sublime.
