Today I Am Not Serious, Poem by Liza Sud

Today I Am Not Serious,

Today I am not serious,
today is September the eitghtth.
It's goggling like song of genius,
a smiling and funny date!

Today I am not serious,
don't make any clips or ties,
Tomorrow you'll meet your millions
in picture of fairy Prague!

Today I am not serious,
Is serious any child?
He knows nothing of the living cost,
And God pays for all he has.

The child KNOWS NOTHING OF THE LIVING COST, AND GOD PAYS FOR ALL HE HAS. - this poem echoes Christ's parable of the lilies of thr field (he said something similar about birds) they don't work or show any anxiety but God the Father takes care of them. But don't test this parable in real life: it's not meant to be taken literally but interpreted. God doesn't feed the birds: they have to scrounge for food all day long to find enough for survival, and during the Minnesota winter many deer die of starvation every year. What we get are Holidays (Holy-Days) when for a short period of time we can be free and carefree, eg. during the the boss's vacation! ! And we should then give thanks to God for the freedom.
