 Today I Recast My Mind Poem by Paul Matthias

 Today I Recast My Mind

Everyone has a version of
Your magnanimous
lifestyle to tell
Everyone had a taste of
Your magnanimous
lifestyle to tell
Suddenly I'm embrace by
Bitterness of my heart
Suddenly I'm sad
I decided to cast backwards
My mind,
to reminisce
Scrolling through your pictures
Reading our previous chat massages
And all I could do is weep
Regret, wish and stare in space
The good die young.
Indeed words fail me again
to express this sudden stab
Of loneliness
You had dreams
You had core perseverance
You were ambitious
Death was in a haste
And couldn't wait.
Farewell and please be well
