Today Is Not A Good Day

i woke up sick in bed
my stomach has a stabbing pain
thats spreading to my head my knees are weak and achy
my eyes are full of flu,
i have a fever too,
i cannot see
i cannot breathe
i cannot read or write
now my eyes are shot
my nose is block
im not a pretty sight
i cannot lift a figure or move a toe
my throat is hot and scratchy
i cannot go to school the answer is always no
this had to happen on the day my book report was due

Jessica I never wanted to go to school as a kid. I loved your poem. I used to hide under the living room sofa in my days sofas had that kinda space below. My grandfather was the school principal he used to send people from the school to fetch me and cajole me to attend. I loved your poem.
