today is my day,

the day for a smile,
a smile for today,
to take away the pain,

the pain of yesterday,
the pain of which i blame,
i blame it for my sadness,
my sadness and my hurt,
the pain which caused the blood stains,
on your pure white shirt,
the shirt that i held,
as i cried through the night,
the shirt that i wrapped around my bleeding wrists tight,
the shirt that i cried too,
that shirt that i bought you,
the shirt that i wiped my eyes with,
to take away the tears,
the shirt that you wore for me,
to say we were made to be,
that shirt that you gave to me,
to keep me warm that cold night,
the shirt that you loved so much,
coz it brought out the colour of your eyes,
your eyes were so blue,
back then when you smiled,
as blue as the sky when i dreamed of it as a child,
then your broke my heart,
that day in the rain,
when my heart started to hurt, and cause so much pain,
i'll always love you baby,
your always in my heart,
waiting for the happiness and love again to start,

then make me smile,
