Thousands of miles away in body
But still together at heart
This time away from each other
Will never tear us apart

Me at home laying alone
Waiting for the phone to ring
You laying in the barracks
Looking forward to the love my messages bring

Im awaiting your return
Missing you every second of the day
Waiting for the moment I can run into your arms
And next to your warm body I will lay

This time apart has made me realize
That what we share is true
And believe me when I say
There's not a moment that I don't think of you
