Toiled Together Poem by Claus Dresfeldt

Toiled Together

Rating: 4.5

You overwhelmed me
As I wrapped my arms around you
I pressed you softly tighter
The joy filled me up
Captured in embrace

Your eyes linked to my soul
The touch from the brim of your lips,
Forever frozen in time
All else fell from mind
As your lips met mine

Bodies now toiled together
In the aftermath of passions glow
what more can love upon me bestow
As now I through dreams flow

In the hopes of in dream
I again can find and relive
the echoes of your tongues dance
the struggle for climactic equilibrium
