Tomorrow I Went Riding Poem by Risa Peris

Tomorrow I Went Riding

[tomorrow] I went riding
town to town -
suitcase of heart(full)
mr. here, mr. there
queer ladies
dark cities swelled -
lovers vein blood pulping
car blue veering
anticipation of [yesterday]
loneliness shrivel(s) hips
wandering hope
of dulcet worship
so this guy -
truck stop locked up
[today] he die born
skin heat hounding
all the molecule(s) tenderly
in between stale bits
big cup of syrup
shared flapjacks and -
off truck went
don't forget
there is forgetting
eiderdown of extinguish(ment)
time shrinks
then explodes escaping
soup thick bubble(s)
popping, seething
sore soul grins
here i go fast sit(ting)
another trip -
more days happening
I can remember
my lonely death
[tomorrow] i went riding
[yesterday] i can't know
[today] i travel
town to town -
