Tomorrow's Truth Poem by Harshita Mishra

Tomorrow's Truth

Empty faces
Violent phases
Sleep, my little bird,
Tomorrow's painful.

Innocent eyes hold,
Brutal karma
Caged golden,
Bird gets beaten.
Look around you,
See who sees you,
Love who loves you,
but, Hate who takes you.

Lofty places,
Depressing phases,
Sleep, my little bird,
Tomorrow's hopeless.

Cunning races, Arrogant crazes,
Look, my little bird,
They are your angels.
Forget those blue lights, and
Those gentle eyes.
For,

Tomorrow's painful,
Tomorrow's hopeless,
Tomorrow's tearful,
Tomorrow's cheerless.

But, tomorrow's coming,
And that too so quietly,
So, sleep my little bird
Tomorrow's a new truth.
Sleep my little bird,
Because,
Empty faces, Violent phases,
Innocent eyes hold, Brutal karma.
Caged golden, Look around you,
Lofty places, Depressing phases
Cunning races, Arrogant crazes.
Love who loves you,
As they are your angels.
