Tongues Of Different Culture! Poem by Zimkitha Dreamhouse

Tongues Of Different Culture!

Rating: 5.0

I call it 'bread' you call it 'du pain'
But it still feeds us every night.
I call it 'water' you call it 'amanzi'
But it quenches the thurts of our bodies.
I call it 'earth' you call it 'grond'
It is the very dust that we were born.
I call it 'food' you call it 'yiyecek'
The food of my bossom and my head.
I call it 'songs' you call it 'canzoni'
But the beautiful is from the voices with in.
I call it 'pride' you call it 'orgullo'
That makes us hide our sorrows down below.
I call it being 'human', you call it 'menschlich sein'
We feel our happiness and our pain.
I call it 'love to a brother' and you call it 'amor a um irmão'
Of the pittiful past we need to let go.
I call it start 'a new life' over you call it 'a beginning of life'
A place where we see our children in cultures strive.
