So tonight
I lost you to liquor.
May it cradle you
Close enough
As I did.
May it love you
As much
As I did.
I regret
Caring enough,
That it
Drove me
Mad, a little too mad.
With this being said,
I’ll let sleep
Take me
Farther away
From you.
