Too Big Poem by Sachidananda Panda

Too Big

This is unbecoming of you
Not as a man but a nation
That claims as the saviour of the world
Champion of human rights
Torch-bearer of liberties
I should not say; shame on you!
Yes! Am ashamed to say so
Hey! Your Honour, Mr. Joe

Ineptitude at its height
Incompetence is let loose
A Senile and a sacrosanct
Tall claims with chicken's heart
I had never seen before
The man in the ivory tower
So helplessly Browbeaten
Dictated by bunch of hooligans

Go hell! I don't bother
Though Hell is still honourable for you
You have let the country down
Expectations of Allies
Trust of partners
You have failed the pride of a mother
The sacrifice of the brave hearts
The toil and tears of twenty years
Hey! Your Honour Mr. Joe
Take rest! The job is too big for you
