Too Busy To See Poem by Charles Karia

Too Busy To See

Have you been too busy see,
Or notice that you are free,
Are you busy in complaints,
Over mundane temporal things?

You kin from Egypt were that way,
Occupied with grumbling everyday,
Blind to notice they were free,
Their slavers they couldn't see.

They were busy asking for meat,
To notice clothes never worn out,
That pillars of fire were unusual,
They became bitter and delusional.

Journey of promise came to an end,
Forty years years they would trod,
Dying in deserts till they learnt,
He loves those glad in the heart.
