A perfect match
You and I,

But

Feelings changed
And
People changed.

No longer
Were you my lover
Nor were you trusted.
When things got tough
I buckled down
And
Took it in stride.

I love a challenge
Which is precisely
What you were.

For,
You tested my patience,
And like a guitar
You played my heart strings
However you wanted.

Although
I had said
I loved a challenge
You soon got to be
To much.

So
I said
It was even
My word
Final
And I wouldn’t
Take you
Back.

Because
I realized
After a short time
That the one thing
I didn’t love
Was


You

So its over
Im done
With you
For I realized
The pain
Wasn’t worth it.
