Too Far
Its late night and I feel so alone.
I think to myself “God is the nearest of them all.”
So I close my eyes to speak to Him the Almighty.
After a few utterances, he seems not to hear my
Desperate whispers,
I think to myself, ”Lucy you need to shout for Him to hear
Because he too is far off.”
But I cannot shout, my little ones are in deep sleep.
God are you too that far?
