Too Human Poem by katerina shmelyeva

Too Human

Rating: 5.0

silvery haze
is blending
with our breathing.
it's not the time
for fresh lilacs
and these darn
kisses
are more like
cold melted ice
or the final chords
of white on white
symphony of
silence,
kindly borrowed
kisses
with no heart.
slowly surely
we're dying
of thirst
as we are both
in urgent need of
someone else
no please
don't ask me
who's occupied
my outer space
now spring is here
to turn the white off
please black me out
