Too Many Frames To Fill… Poem by KUNAL SETH

Too Many Frames To Fill…

One life too many frames to fill
Too many places to go
Too much to speak
And too much to “be”
No choices but have to “be”
Frame by frame a new story unfolds
On the stage of life where everything is cold
I am the actor
I am the star
No rehearsals just playing my part

One costume, no design
I think I am writing my lyrics
Always starting but not finishing my lines
Don’t get to choose my scene nor the story and not my co-star
Just push play is the rule divine
Sent with a purpose
Everyone has one and I don’t know mine
The stage is set for a spontaneous performance
I am exiting one and reaching another in time

The make-up is same but the plot changes
When I expect the least a new twist emerges
The emotions, the chase, the suspense all are real
Only difference is I don’t know what is fake and what to feel
No laurels for the achievements, no accolades for the day
Keep walking and keep talking is the only way
Strangers keep popping with a smile or a frown
Some come into my scenes and some are lost or found
Never know when someone yells “cut” and the days turn to night
Till then I’ll keep emoting my job is my life

-Too many movies, well directed frames I am in all of them, that’s my game!
