Too Young To Have Loved You Poem by Blue Mountains

Too Young To Have Loved You

I guess fate was not so kind to us.
We met in childhood,
so young at that time—
too young to know love, real love.

I enjoyed being with you.
We cherished each other,
in love without knowing it,
too young to really know you—for real.

I wish to see you again someday,
to be with you once more.
But not in this lifetime, not in this life;
we would just hurt others more than ever.

I hope you are well, really well,
to be with you someday, not painfully.
But in another lifetime, perhaps?
We will hold each other's hands lovingly.

I will love you there, truly love you—for eternity.
