I was content, knowing you were
at home, waiting for me, I was
happy when you announced you
were coming here, I was thrilled
seeing your face at the airport,
I was overjoyed when I clasped
you to my heart, I was ecstatic
when we made love, it was total
bliss to lie next to you afterwards
