Total Simplicity Poem by Iris Mista

Total Simplicity

Rating: 5.0

I need to cut out the past
hours running too slow
then again way too fast
nowhere I can go

I need to be free, at last
I only live now
let it go in one big blast
if I only knew how

It is a choice I make
to only live this moment
making still mistakes
allowing the torment

I will get stronger
each and every day
dying no longer
for in this second I stay

And when death is
being alive I will die!
no moments I'll miss
to stop wondering why

There's no need to know
for what it is good for
a loving heart to show
the only reason for sure

And when dark comes back
in the next moment to be
a new night screamingly black
I still will be free

For as long as I live
pain will always be there
so I've understanding to give
and love to share
