Totem Pole Poem by Caleb H Ko

Totem Pole

My family is a totem pole.
My mom, the eagle, soars through the day,
while my dad, the bear, says 'All work, no play.'
My brother, the rat, mischievous and sly,
and Me, the deer, sad but unable to cry.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is my first poem. Please comment what you think! I'm the shy, sad deer in my family. I needed a way to explain my family in a pithy way, and here it is!
