Touch The Clouds Poem by Adam Smitherman

Touch The Clouds

Who really knows what does on in the night.
You never really know someone could die tonight.
When I look up in the stars they seem so pretty.
When your in the right spot their can be so many.
But I can spot you right on the spot.
It's something that I learned.
Not what I was taught.
Baby your so beautiful in the full moon.
Your hair shines so brightly.
Why don't you come over here so I can hold you tightly.
Your more than just a person.
Your a star.
Your my model.
When I close to you I go full throttle.
I can speak to you all night.
I'll be there when you wake up in a fright.
I'll be there if you want me.
Baby I'll be there tonight.
I'm not rich.
I'm not cool.
But baby I'm not a fool.
I can treat you right.
Hold you tight.
Hold til the sun breaks out into the night.
So will come with me on ths journey?
Will you say yes to me after all?
You stand there with no one to care.
But I'm here baby and I surely care.
So I'll pick you up so you can touch the clouds and watch the world turn around.
