Sometimes there is only doubt,
Sometimes there is great pain,
Is there nothing to gain, or,
Am I just going insane?

In a world of hate,
Is it too late,
What will be our fate?

They say that we are all one,
When all is said and done,
Tough love rules the world,
There is no one to blame, and,
Love is all that will remain,

How am I gonna make it to the light,
Will you please hold me tight,
If I am just your friend, then,
Maybe both our hearts can mend!
