Toy Soldier
Robots, robots,
empty, ticking, clicking,
machines,
soldiers, soldiers,
fully, marching, shouting,
beings,
both
blinded, guided, chided, martyred,
over the sea,
tick, tock,
across the land,
tick, tock,
the clock slows,
rickety-clank,
they cry,
rickety-crank,
they stop,
dead,
into the ground.
