Track Of Solitude Poem by william shackspear

Track Of Solitude

Rating: 3.9

From the start to the stop
From the shot of the gun
To the beep of the clock
I hit the ground running
My feet are like enemies to the tarp
I run like I own the track
Like it’s mine
I claim it
Put my flag in the ground that is full of so much greatness
As I hit the straight away
My feet are screaming in pain
But my heart glinting with pride
As I pass the line were I am finish
And I can’t wait till I run another time
