Trail Blazer Poem by Rachael Wilkins

Trail Blazer

Trail Blazer

Steady onward
Don’t look back
Diligent steward
Don’t dare relax
Dart your eyes
Scan the horizon
Defeat the enemy
Eject the poison
Blaze ahead
Pursue the prize
This time…victory, instead
He’s heard your cries
Your soul’s destroyer
He destroys
And in each tomorrow
You’ll find His joys
