Tranquility, Haiku Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

Tranquility, Haiku

given yet another
white wash the canvas resists
transformation

*

every raindrop
generates new life
love and pain

*

winter approaches
left and right, the snow enters
panoramic views

*

tranquility
a dragonfly rests coupled
with sky and water

*

for all your
Imperfections
I cherish you

*

love defies logic
a marksman takes aim
and finds his target

*

logically
nothing makes any sense
that's why I love you

*

glimpses of violets
diamonds on, harp string grasses
springs come at last

*

new geometry
the sacred path
autumnal leaves

*

every atom
and molecule is poetry
divinly written

*

lost ingredients
my childhood innocence
grandmother's humming

*

a state of pure joy
a resurrection of souls
you again - snowflakes

*

frigid blue feathers
won't take to the skies
with rubies on ice

*

todays kniphofias
point towards a setting sun
in reverence

*

given yet another
whitewash—the canvas resists
transformation

*

every raindrop
generates new life
love and pain

*

winter approaches
snow enters a camera lens
panoramic views

*

logically
nothing makes any sense
that's why I love you

*

glimpses of violets
diamonded harp-string acers
spring comes at last

*

new geometry
the sacred path
autumnal leaves

*

every atom
molecule is poetry
divinely written

*

doves depart
a flight unknown awaits
clouds glide cumulus

*

a bolting hare
in a woodknot - a Freudian
slip of insanity

New Year message
written in the fallen leaves
of the ginko

*

this is what happens
when the extraordinary
becomes normal

*

childish anger
taken out on a fungus
clouds of laughter

*

puffball fungus
kicked hither and thither
between willow sticks

*

gaint puffball
undiscovered luna
autumn fullmoon

*

Emptiness

discarded eggshells
on an island lake the size
of China teacups

*

echoes of wings
long flown south for winter
collapse gunnera

*
Halo

tiny ice crystals
put on a light show
a radiant halo

*

cherry blossom
falling into the lake water
tricks a koi to bite

*

footprints in the snow
are the first of many more
quiet morning rituals

*

the jacaranda
sprinkles her mauve contetti
and the wind laughs hard

*

Jacaranda ~
petals fall like mystical
purple butterflies

*

jacaranda ~
mystical petals rest like
purple butterflies
