Transcendence Poem by J.C. Masa

Transcendence

I have always believed
That you are greater than beyond,
Your beauty a transcendence
Of all the eyes have ever known.

Though your eyes have yet to settle on mine,
Someday our hearts will tangle the lines,
Tethering our lives across a new lifeline,
A resurgence of love, pure and divine.
But for now, it is not yet mine.

I hope it is destined to be.
If it's not, I'll let the mystique of life
Set you free.
Loving you brings no regret—
Only the joy of loving unconditionally.
