Transcending Love Poem by Viviana Helianos

Transcending Love

The time has come to end the tale right here.
A tale of love, of death, and time right now.
Shed tears, don't hold it in, for you can't bear.
For soon this voice shall cease, and I will bow.

Twas once there was a gal so sweet, so dear
to all who smiled and frowned at her sweet face
but none could tear her from her love the bear
he may have been a prince, but men bore mace.

He died, the end, boo hoo, but why end here?
Her love for him transcends ages ago,
it was destined for them to be so near
But they will never wed, all ‘cause a doe

But they will love, and love once more, again.
For they know that one day the cycle will end.
