Transience. Poem by Driss Ezzireg

Transience.

My eyes meet her eyes
I wonder what in her mind
Whiskers feign surprise.

The swift train flies past
His unperturbed iron path
We follow in fast.

Singing a loud air
The villager from the fair
Wakes the sleepy bear.
